Brady, perhaps motivated by Maille’s win the week before, put on a tour de force in Week 6. He got all the early games right, posted the league’s highest % of the season to claim the solo victory, and leapt ahead of Ciara for the overall lead.
On top of all that, Brady officially accepted the role of Deputy Commish during an introductory conference call yesterday. Some might raise a (characteristically large) eyebrow at the coincidence of him performing so well at the exact same time that he is given a peek behind the McManus Picks curtain, but I can assure you that everything’s on the up and up.
That being said, it’s a long season and Brady has quite a lot of work ahead of him if he wants to hold onto his lead. He also just has quite a lot of work ahead of him because Deputy Commish is an extremely arduous position, despite being unpaid. Those faces don’t Photoshop themselves, for example.
Congrats all the same, Brady. And welcome to the machine.
