The results – after Sunday, at least – are in. Go to ‘This Week’s Picks’ and click on the ‘Everyone’ link to see where you stand. We’re very even across the board and, of the eight players who submitted picks (Ciara was the only square), four took the Steelers and four took the Redskins. If the Steelers win, I win with a score of 10. If the Redskins win, Baldy and McStartrek will share the win with 10 apiece.
Changes, updates
Thanks to McBookworm’s imposing, I have made some minor changes and been inspired to post the site’s first poll (coming later). I removed a category that was confusing (even to MENSA candidates) and hid a link to Tom Brady’s website in a not-so-incognito space. Apparently, Runningtights wants injury updates directly from the source and couldn’t guess what his website might be called.

Week 8 Picks
After hearing someone mention this website, I decided to resurrect it. After many long hours, I have made some changes (deleted the Haircuts post, Mom), additions (Matt and Joe are now on the ‘Players‘ page), and updates (‘History‘ is now up-to-date). Oh yeah, and best of all, I have discovered an easier way to post picks online! Go to the ‘This Week’s Picks‘ page to try it out.

Leaderboard: Week 17
Here’s the reference guide, start calculating all the possibilities. Ciara has to hope for a margin of victory tiebreaker, in this case she’d have to beat her opponent (i.e. all of us) by 33. Erin needs to win and have the following teams lose by about 24: Tim, Pat, Mom, Cait, and Dad.

FINAL WEEK
Phew, tough week to pick. For all the research and intuitiveness that has gone into our picks for the first 16 weeks of the season, it’s all going to come down to whether or not New Orleans, Chicago, San Diego, etc. decide to play. Kinda takes away from the moment, basically knowing at the beginning of each game if you got it right or not.
A couple things are at stake here. First, both Tim and I are going for our second title, I a second-consecutive title. Next, no female has ever won it all, and both Mom and Cait begin the week just one back of the leaders (both males). Also, for the first time all year, both Ciara and Erin have submitted picks. Unfortunately, they were both mathematically eliminated several weeks ago, making their submissions useless and really just more work for me when I post everyone’s picks. Thanks for clogging our inboxes, guys.
Here are my picks.
